FAQs – Removals / Man & Van Service

Q?

Are Packaging Materials Included In my Quote?

A.

If you would like us to include packaging materials into the quote we can do so.  We are also happy to provide a separate quotation for the packaging materials alone.  That way you can decide which option is best for you.

Q?

What time will your team arrive?

A.

Generally we like to start between 8am to 9am but we will discuss this with you to suit your individual needs.  On a long distance move we will aim to start at 7am but again we will liaise with you to discuss to find the correct start time.

Q?

Can I hire just a van?

A.

Sorry but unfortunately we do not offer a van hire only service.  This is to protect our vehicles and for insurance purposes.  We do offer a budget removal services which would work out much more beneficial to you then van hire only.

Q?

Do I pay a deposit to secure my booking?

A.

Normally we will ask for a small deposit to be paid direct into our bank via a bank transfer.  This secures your booking and gives you that piece of mind that we will be there on the scheduled date and time.

Q?

How and when do I pay for my removal?

A.

At the time of paying for your deposit you are welcome to pay the full amount via bank transfer or transfer the full remaining balance the day before your move.  Otherwise if agreed pay the balance on the completion of your move in cleared funds.

Q?

How many men will do my removal or delivery?

A.

That really depends on the size of your move, we will always use a minimum of 2/3 removal porters per job but for say the larger moves we could provide 4/5 porters.  This will all be agreed with you at the time of booking.

Q?

What distances will your company cover?

A.

We are happy to move you anywhere in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain. Italy, Belguim, Denmark and Holland.

Q?

Do you charge extra for weekend or evening work?

A.

We try and be fair to all of our customers and offer the same rates on a week day and weekends.  Evenings may incur a small surcharge but really depends on the job itself.
